The Table Talkers help you to start the conversation about life, death, funeral and legacy.
There are practical questions, but also the more philosophical, religious and of course emotional topics are not shunned.
The large amount of cards makes it easy to choose which question to start with. Some questions lend themselves more to a later conversation. This will vary from person to person.
About Time's mission is to help prepare for an impending loss sooner or later and with the hope of inspiring, promoting openness and starting a conversation.
The About Time conversation starters will give you a helping hand. These are questions that you might not have made up yourself, that you find difficult to ask or that may seem less relevant to you.
Through the About Time app you have access to a wealth of information, inspiration, possibilities and much more to make your life memorable. You decide which loved ones have access to this data as a confidant.
In our About Time condolence register , you can create a memorial page as a next of kin, entirely dedicated to the deceased loved one. Easily share a page with photos, character traits, stories, anecdotes, and a birth and death date.
About Time is the app that allows you to arrange and record almost everything for death, funeral and inheritance. It helps you to think about everything that is possible and what needs to be arranged.
You then invite trustees who can access this data at different stages of your life: during life and well-being, in case of incapacity and after death.
This can only be read permissions, but also the possibility to modify this data. Make sure you have always added a trustee who can access your data after death. You can adjust these permissions in the app, under Trustees.

In About Time you store a lot of important and personal information. Safety is therefore our top priority.
You are the only one who has access to your own data, unless you set this differently.
It is important that you choose a strong password that is not easy to guess. This prevents someone from guessing your password and thus gaining access to your account.

If you invite a confidant to the app - which we advise you to do - you decide who will have access to your account at which stage of your life, or only after your death. You can only give your confidant(s) reading rights, but also the right to edit your profile.

During the trial period you get a free 14-day credit. During that time you can try out the app and see if it meets your needs. All features in the app are available during your trial period.
As soon as your credit threatens to run out, you will be informed, even during the free trial period. You can then choose to top up your credit by purchasing additional items.
Once your credit has run out, you can no longer use the app. From that moment on, you still have 1 calendar month to top up your credit. After that month, your account and the data and files you entered will be permanently deleted. About Time cannot retrieve this either.
Yes, naturally. Your wishes can change at any time, so you can change or delete your data directly in the app.

After your trustee(s) have registered in About Time that you have died, they can access your data for another 9 months.
One of the wishes on our roadmap is the possibility for surviving relatives to keep the user's account (yours) alive after those 9 months. This is not yet possible, but if there is (a lot of) demand for it, we will certainly make it possible.
The answer to this question falls into a few parts:
- If you use About Time and close your account yourself, your data will be deleted as soon as you have definitively confirmed this;
- If you have a (trial) account and you let your credit expire, your account and all your data will be deleted after one month;
- If one of your trustees has registered in About Time that you have died, your data will still be available to your trustee(s) for 9 months;
- If you have registered for the newsletter, your name and email address will be retained until you indicate that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter;
- If you have registered in the Online Condolence Register (for example to open a register), your data will be stored there until you delete your account;
- About Time webshop: Did you buy something via the webshop? We must then keep the invoicing data for 7 years for a possible audit by the tax authorities.
